Statutory Information

To comply with legislation all academies must publish specific information on their websites as outlined by the Department for Education.

To make this content easier to find we have compiled a list of links to all our statutory information. Listed on the right of this page.

Governing bodies are required to produce a curriculum statement annually. This replaces the requirement under the School Framework and Standards Act 1998 for a curriculum plan.

From September 2014 there is an expectation from the government for all mainstream primary schools to deliver the new National Curriculum. We have therefore adapted our School curriculum accordingly to ensure that we meet the current aims and statutory requirements.

It is our core aim that all pupils will achieve their potential as we ‘believe in a world of possibilities’. We passionately believe that each and every child has the ‘right to be astonishing’.

BPS is committed to raising standards of achievement and attainment for its pupils. We understand that this is an issue of equal opportunities and that as a consequence of this staff should have appropriately high expectations.
