  • A Furry Visitor

    Today, we were delighted to welcome Ember (the reading dog) and her owner Liz.  Ember met several of the year groups and will return before Christmas to meet the rest of the school.  We look forward to Ember visiting on a regular basis so that children can enjoy reading to her and spending time with a canine companion.

    Liz and Ember were very impressed with our consideration and thoughtful questions. We discovered that Ember doesn't really enjoy playing ball because she won't bring it back, she likes all food (but mostly tasty treats), she is 11 years old, but she still likes to chase cats!

  • Bridlit Author Visit

    On Friday, years 4 and 5 visited Bridport Arts Centre for a talk by author Maz Evans. The children were incredibly enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

    "They were thrilling tales of courage, fear and identity."

    "I like the adventure and mythical images. I liked the story 'Who let the Gods out?'.

    We are so proud of our tag rugby team for their excellent efforts on Saturday. On this beautiful sunny morning, the team worked extremely well together, holding their own against the other primary schools.
